What is the definitive list of 5 star Texas garage? That means 8.5, 9, 9.5 or 10 on your personal garage-o-meter. Your choices do not necessarily have to agree with the TBM cabinet tally. You can include acetates and album tracks as well. Rate them if you like.
We've done things like this before, but not with some of the newer forum guys and gals involved. And anyway it's fun, at least I think so!

Here are the 3 at the top of the tree for me.
The first song on my list is the 45 that literally forced me to create this thread when I listened to it tonight. As always, it blew me completely away so I had to do something about it!

Knights Bridge - Make Me Some Love - 10
The Gentlemen - It's A Cry'n Shame - 10
Thirteenth Floor Elevators - You're Gonna Miss Me - 10

In case you don't know how to add youtube video in your post, just type the following on a new line somewhere in your post:

[?edia=youtube]xxxxxxx[/media]

where xxxxxxx is the number after watch?v= on the youtube URL that you want to show. You also have to type "media" not "?edia". For technical reasons I could not actually type the word "media" in the example.

Over to you...

The beings in the UFO hovering outside my window said I had to post these two before I could go to bed.

Lemon Fog - Summer (Houston, 1968)

Knights Bridge Quintet - Sorrow in C Major (Waco, Nov '67)
One of the top 10 moody garage songs.
