The Alabama Garage Bands series

Mike, I just saw your blurb on the Cargo Mining Company label on your site.
I saw on their website that 4 volumes of "Alabama Garage Bands" are available, but there was no info at all. Do you have any details on these CD's (or CD-R's?)? Tracklists for instance?

Unfortunately, I don't. I'll definitely get around to ordering them, and when I do I can report back with a track listing. The guy that sent me the link is one of The Ramrods, who also have a release on Cargo Mining, but he didn't provide any info on the Alabama series. They don't accept PayPal, either - so I think sales are going to be slow going unless the track listings (hopefully good ones) are announced.

I received these and finally have listened to all four volumes. It's hit or miss, of course, but I think all forum regulars will appreciate most of the song selection. Too bad they're CDRs - not professional at all (although the sound isn't too bad). I would recommend them based on songs alone - not packaging.
