The Beachnuts - Iconoclastic Life (Showcase)

Speaking of Master tapes, does anyone know what became of Pickwick International's Master recordings? Our band members have been looking for the original unedited version of Iconoclastic Life which contains an unbelievable guitar solo. The solo, unfortunately, was edited out of the final 45 rpm recording. Thx.

Sorry, meant to post this comment in the "Be a Caveman" Re-issue discussion...but if anyone has any thoughts, pls let me know.....Marv Gellman, drummer, Beachnuts

I've gotta tiger in my tank to see a collection of Beach-Nuts on vinyl or CD, or even a Pickwick associates compilation... there's still a few Reed-Cale things I haven't heard. Cool that the Devils beat the Rangers tonight and then I read the Beach-Nuts are from Jersey. :)

Hey..catch the Beachnuts reunion Jan. 16, 2016 at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ...9 p.m. ET...you'll definitely hear Iconoclastic Life and Nature's Company performed at this fundraiser for The Light of Day concert series!

At our reunion, I'm sure we'll play some of the great 60's music which I still play....but I'm sure we'd have our own take on any new music we write and record. My goal is to get the band together in 2012 for U.S./European gigs and recording....I know Lowell Stanley, the lead singer on Iconoclastic Life is ready any time; and lead guitarist Keith MacGregor has some tunes to record!

Good to have you posting on the site, Marv. Did you ever hear a record called 'Reality Composition #1' by a 60s group called The Flys? It sounds like it might have been "influenced" slightly by 'My Iconoclastic Life'.
