Spoke to someone on Facebook Marketplace about buying a Farfisa organ that was used in his mothers band in the 60s. Band was called The End Result, from Pleasantville NY. I'm fairly sure this is the same group that recorded LLove on Yenta (the label was located nearby in Yonkers)

I sent him an mp3 of the song & he got defensive & said there's no way it could be his mother's band because it wasn't good (??). He didn't have any recordings. I'm convinced it's the same group!

THE END RESULT. That was the name of the band. The drummer, the guy on the right in the back row, ended up playing with Johnny Winter for about 15 years and currently works with his brother. The End Result was 1967-1968 and was quite popular. They were the house band at Jack Tracy in White Plains, they played there at least 26 weekends a year, but they also played everywhere from Dutchess County, Rockland County all the way down to New York City.

Yeah I figured the "kiddie vocals" could be a female vocalist.

I guess I never got true confirmation the band was from Pleasantville, just the guy I talked to (and the organ used in the band) were located there. Sorry, this convo was over a year ago. The guy stopped responding to my messages so I can't really pry for more info, he never gave me names. Thanks for the news clipping MTM :)

There's still a possibility that this is a different band. But I find it unlikely (not impossible) that two bands with the same name were working the same lower Westchester club circuit at the same time. Either way, cool photo at least!

According to another newspaper story from the time, the 3 kids in the End Result were 10 to 14 years old, so the kid vocals are real. Not the band in the OP pic

Ah well that definitely confirms they're different! Thanks Buckeye. Do you have the clipping handy?
