When I purchased my copy, it wasn't one of the most expensive. I think it cost $200 just for the sleeve, and maybe $150 for the record. I bought them separately about 10 years ago.
 
I'm unwilling to let this die without a fight. So looky, a small display of mostly rare and mostly great German 45s with picture sleeves. You can't imagine how bright that Bats sleeve is (unless you've seen it). It's fluoro red ink, liberally applied to a matt paper stock.
The 5 Torquays are of course The Monks, before their name-change.

I don't know why, but it wasn't just the USA which had fewer sleeves. They were less common (except for ep's) in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK. Best for picture sleeves was Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Belgium the rest of the Euro continent and of course Japan.

Here is a small collection from Switzerland and Austria combined

oops. I guess when I purchased this from Rolf I therefore assumed...I've actually found quite a few mis-filed 45s while preparing these pages. I've been using soybomb to double-check when unsure. But I was so sure about the Jackie Fountains, I didn't even bother to check.

What the hell. I want to be the first to use the new "flush myself" emoticon

White Waves "Skinnie Minnie" 45 is not from Switzerland, but from Winterswijk, Netherlands :-)
 
The Magic Herbs PS made my day! It certainly looks like they could use those herbs. It can't get much worse by the looks of it.

Great to have some new emoticons btw. Is it ok to steal some from other forums as well? I think this could come in handy:

Did not notice at first, but that is the Belgian pressing of Green Onions on the top row. Looks fab.
