The Official Quantity Find list

It appears there was a recent find of "30+ copies" (according to the source) of The Modulation Corporation 45. Seller is selling them at a price now of $144 buy it now.
Seller is very nice but not a record dealer so grading may not be consistent.
Not all copies appear to be mint, as it seems some have been more like a strong VG+ to EX with light marks and at least one was warped by one account.

I have 6 copies of my own available if any group member wants one from me at a slightly lower price and properly packed, etc. Ill be setting up a proper sale thread tomorrow for it if there is any interest or PM me before.

Largest quantity find of this title since the Seguin stash was uncovered circa 1978? I wish that The Wig on
Black Knight was as easy to score now...

I bought the second copy he had up on ebay for 100$ - described as near mint, but if I had known there were 30+ I might have waited a while.

Got my copy today,
While the packaging used by the seller (small priority mail cube box with a few pieces of bubble wrap + newspaper) is quite the dicey method of USPS transport, the 45 itself grades near mint - can't see any evidence of being played, taken out of the sleeve...plus it is flat. I guess I lucked out, for once.
Still recommend getting a copy if you do not own one, OntheRoadSouth is certainly your best bet, but I still would try the ebay seller. I know someone who received a warped copy and the seller is sending another copy to replace the defective one.

Yeah, it seems like some copies have been perfect mint and some have had issues with scuffs, warps, cracks, etc. From what I understand they were stored under less than ideal conditions over the years and many were stored outside of their sleeves. Kind of a roll of the dice! I had tried working out a bulk deal on the entire lot of copies in person but they were not interested in doing a bulk deal.
I am down to my last couple copies now which I would grade in the VG++ range.

They still have (at least) two more copies as I've returned two already and a third copy is on the way. They are very nice to deal with, however, they apparently, are not regular record sellers and are making their best guess regarding condition. They provided an original business card from the label which was cool.

The price just increased to $167 buy it now.
Must be running low on supply.

Many copies of Roky Erickson's Mars 45 have been showing up, but I can state from experience many have storage warps. Not a great pressing to begin with.
