The Preachers on Festival label.

It has value, but not really high. I have a copy, but I'm not one of those who really collects Australian pressings of USA or UK '60s bands. It would be different if the Australian pressings of US 45s had come out with cool picture sleeves, like they did in Europe. But they didn't, except of course for ep's.
So personally, I would much prefer to have the US pressing of a US group. However, there are Australian collectors who specialize in that sort of collecting. Some Festival pressings of USA groups go for 2 or 3 hundred bucks, if they are very rare. I don't think the Preachers is one of those, unfortunately. So I'd say $50-$75 bucks if you're lucky.

Hi Mark,

I'm one of those collectors who specialises in USA garage-pressed OZ labelled 45s/EPs/LPs. So for $15 it is good investment, thanks. I also have loads of others, but a standout is, Don and the Goodtimes (promo) 'I'm Real' on W&G. :) And a test pressing of Count Five's Psychotic Reaction album in stereo.
