I have not heard the LP for at least 25 years but, indeed, "Not Now" was the best track on the LP. Certainly the LP looked promising but with the exception of that one song, it was pretty much lightweight pop that left me with the impression that they had very little say in it.

Cool photo's , Fifi the flea I would agree is one their best songs. The Hollies did a real good version of Fifi the flea as well.

Fifi The Flea is practically the worst song ever written, maybe everyone sings it too straight, maybe if Tiny Tim or The Bonzos had covered it... Ghod, someone could make a masochistic comp with that one headlining; Put The Bone In by Terry Jacks (worse than Seasons In The Sun), I'm Just A Lonely Teenager & Teen Angel by whichever '50s Bobbys did those, and The Everly's Ebony Eyes.

Has anyone heard the pre-Sidekicks material they recorded as The Redcoats? If so, how does it rate in comparison?

It's very 1965-1966 Beatles-influenced. There are some clunkers--particularly 'The Dum Dum Song, sung with a horrible Peter Noone accent--but overall it's worth a listen.
