Picked this one up at the Olympia recordfair one and a half week ago.
Got it on Trip in Tyme #5, label says Hollywood, California (66?) and that´s it. Can´t recall the label or the band. More info appreciated

A-side a standard ballad. The flip, a uptempo, jangly teen garage tune, pretty cool.

I don't know much about this Mark label except that it is under-appreciated. I know of 3 other releases on the label:

Mark 202 -- The Tyrods -- She Said He Said / Girl Don't Know -- 6/5
Mark 205 -- The Enchanted Forist -- It Don't Mean A Thing Anymore / Hung On U -- 6/6
Mark 217 -- Thei Forist - It's Your Son / Hung On U -- 6/6

The numbers at the end are my ratings on the Garage-O-Mter scale out of 10 for the aside/bside. I'm pretty stingy with my ratings. 6 is a high rating for me. I give the Tides a 6/4.

And yes, on the last 45, the band's name is spelled "Thei Forist".

Back in 2006 I posted the following query on the old Garagepunk forum:

Did the Enchanted Forist release a 2nd 45 (beside Hung On You/It Don't Mean A Thing)?
I just heard a song called "It's Your Son" which apparently are them. It sure sounds like it.
