I have to say:

I want to marry his fuzzbox and have little fuzzchildren running around. Seriously, I think that it is fuzz on the rhytm section too. I want to shake the hand of the man that is responsible for this track, Jim Howard.

Drop your contributions and see if it can take the lead from Stereo Shoestring!

Noblemen "Short Time" kicks Stereo Shoestring's Pretty Things ripoff to the corner:cool:

NOBLEMEN Short Time Is the #1 fuzz monster of all-times!!! Not even a close second...Take 2 thru 10 add them up and they still don't add up to Short Time:confused: Mikey knows his shit!!!

I have to give it to you, the Noblemen was kinda good, hard to beat, but it still didn't convince me :D The Shoestring song is WILD, while the other is just plain wild. The licks are ridiculous.

My favorite fuzz is the 2000 Pound Bee (parts 1 & 2) by The Ventures. One of the first too.

There must be hundreds! I really dig The Intruders - She's Mine but also right away think of songs like White Lightning - William, XL's - Maryjane, The Holocaust - Savage Affection, Trojans Of Evol - Through The Night etc... all have different sortsa brutal fuzz breaks. There's a lot more! The Beautiful Daze is drenced in fuzz and the leads just keep getting louder n louder all through the song. The Guess Who? - It's My Pride. Hard fuzz on both guitar and bass! Just like Stereo Shoestring btw... ;)

The guitar sound on Spontaneous Generation - Up In My Mind is pretty fantastic aswell.
And yeah! The Plastic Cloud LP is absolutely great :)

Yes, it really is! Thank you for mentioning The Guess Who? track, how can I have missed that one!? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-!! song! And yes, The Plastic Cloud it ridiculous, I really like "Shadows of Your Mind".

I'd take all eleven of these over Stereo Shoestring regarding the fuzzpower quotient:

Spontaneous Generation "Up In My Mind"
Liberty Bell "That's How It Will Be"
Lost Agency "One Girl Man"
Next Step "I've Got Power To Fly"
Split Ends "Rich With Nothing"
Peabody Hermitage "Something So"
Expressions "Return To Innocence"
Grass "Once A Child"
Paul Bearer & Hearsemen "I've Been Thinking"
Zero End "Fly Today"
Herd "things Won't Change"

Just a few off the top of me noggin...

Since you are a little bit of an idol to me, you don't approve of the Shoestring track? :(

The Liberty Bell is really good!
