those who bought from laptops4fun, beware

This guy was actually pleasant and did not balk at a refund. He admitted that he didn't know much about grading and was very apologetic. So, here's to mister laptop for making good. All in sharp contrast to what is really the Crown Jewel of the Les Harris experience... The knock down drag out that you had to go through to get a refund! The staunch defense of his grading abilities! The mystery record that arrived the other day has me a little worried though. I Contacted the seller and he claimed the paypal gave my address for delivery. Should I reprt this ASAP? Could it be some kind of fraud? You guys let me know what you think.

sorry to hear about that, Greg, and thanks for the heads up. i once had an experience like that with a well known psych album dealer..i was so mad when after we spoke on the phone and he mocked me, i told him I would drive the 6 hours to where his PO Box was and wait for him to even up things,lol..ahhhh youth!!

Greg, you could send a complaint through ebay - say the item was substantially different than described. It's likely ebay will give you a return shipping label and you'll get your money back.

I bought from Les once about 12 years ago and that was it NO MORE, The guy looks just like I imagines a sleazy dodgy dealer....
