how does one tell a reissue of this lp from an original ?

By the label. The reissue is fairly recent; witihn the last 10 years or so.

It's easy to distinguish between the two.
The original label is black & silver, the reissue yellow & black.
The orig. sleeve has flipbacks & an "Imperial" logo on the front & back of the sleeve, not so the reissue.
Also, the typeface listing the groups names on the front is different.
It's a decent LP, with the Pee White tracks being the strongest.
