To Whom It May Concern.

The "Love Man" 45 released on Vita has a B-side "Out Of Sight", a remake of the James Brown tune.
I think the website owner & Cadena family memory for "Yellow Listens" (sic) is faulty. Tho I'd love to be proven wrong.
Conn told me when I spoke with him that "Yellow Listen" was cut with mostly studio guys in the fall of 1970. He is the one singing it.

The 50th Anniversary Zoo was a group that formed / existed while the guys were in high school in San Diego. Conn said that Fred had brought a few songs to the group, and they played them live, "Love Man" was the one selected for recording. His memory as to whether or not any other tunes were recorded by this group in '67 was "I don't think so".

It was me who uploaded "Love Man" several years ago in a forum post. It was from the 50th Anniversary Zoo 45 I got from Joey D., not the mythical "Yellow Listens" flip.

Thanks Mike.

Do you think that it is any truth to his "story" at all or has he just good all his information mixed up? Really mixed up..

Is this the Scorpio Tube? According to the liner notes it is:

Or have I got this ALL wrong?

Can we see a scan of the flip to Love Man? Maybe hear it too?

The vocalist on the Scorpio Tube 45 doesn't sound like the same singer as Love Man to my ears. I agree with Mike's assessment here.
