I would like to proudly announce to my new friends here that my 10 years of widowhood are over.I'm engaged to a gal I went to highschool with in the early 1980's. Jennie and I are getting married on June 23rd 2012,in good time before the world blows up in December.
Jennie has been in my life for anout 2 years now.Our kids get along great, she's an acomplished violinist(we played together in our school orch.)AND SHE LIKES MY MUSICAL TASTES!!!
The day will include lots of pre-1916 automobiles, and all the members of my previous bands playing for the reception.
I myself will occasionally be helping with the bass playing repsonsiblities. My Bandmate Bob wants to try to learn Roxanne by the Chapparel Trio, and Denise's famous tune(I don't know who the hell is gonna sing that!!!).
If we play Abba by the Paragons and a few rockabilly gems,I'll be content;) oh...and Louie Louie, but I'll have to learn the bass chords.....it's a tough one.....

This is one of our engagement photos taken in November with both my Queens!

I got divorced twice by the same woman that I didn't go to school with:( She hated all my music...with a passion:%:

Congratulations to you both Darren. By the way, I listened to the Byrds cover you posted a while back in G45 Eye and I thought it was ace, one of the best versions I've ever heard.

Congrats Darren, that ceremony sounds like a blast. I don't imagine you'll be having the same problems as FRANTIC.

HAHAAHAHAHAHAH!!!! I've been there and done that once before! Best things out of it were my daughter and the fact that the last thing she wanted was the records!
