I would like to proudly announce to my new friends here that my 10 years of widowhood are over.I'm engaged to a gal I went to highschool with in the early 1980's. Jennie and I are getting married on June 23rd 2012,in good time before the world blows up in December.
Jennie has been in my life for anout 2 years now.Our kids get along great,she's an acomplished violinist(we played together in our school orch.)AND SHE LIKES MY MUSICAL TASTES!!!
The day will include lots of pre-1916 automobiles,and all the members of my previous bands playing for the reception.
I myself will occasionally be helping with the bass playing repsonsiblities. My Bandmate Bob wants to try to learn Roxanne by the Chapparel Trio,and Denise's famous tune(I don't know who the hell is gonna sing that!!!).
If we play Abba by the Paragons and a few rockabilly gems,I'll be content oh...and Louie Louie,but I'll have to learn the bass chords.....it's a tough one.....

Unfortunately I sold my 1st collection (1984) to save the marriage:oops:How'd that work out for ya Joey?
