Do all copies sound a little muffled & distorted?

Same problem whether white promo labels or stock?

All copies are styrene, but it seems this may have a muffled sound even on mint copies?

Generally speaking, a mint polystyrene record will sound as good--if not better--than a polyvinyl pressing.

Yes, I agree on that. But this may be a special case.

I played both my stock & white label promo copies. Neither sounds muffled or distorted. In the deadwax on both it reads: ET-21-A-RE. Maybe a re-release? The Monarch delta number is 59191.

RE would mean remaster for whatever reason (not necessarily bad sound), but my copy has the same RE and ∆ number.

Returned. Seller has relisted it, noting there may be a "faint bit" of distortion.
