What are the best labels for soul reissues?

I'm sure some of you garage fans also enjoy R&B and can offer some guidance on this. I've been in touch with a producer responsible for one of my favorite falsetto soul singles, and I want to try to get it reissued. Rather than plunk down more money than I can afford and press up more copies of something than I can sell, I'd like to work with a label that would do a good job and could bring the music the attention it deserves. This stuff might work on Numero's Eccentric Soul series, though it didn't sound like the guy had a full CD's worth of material. Any other suggestions?

Jazzman - Gerald is a top-notch guy, having met him and dealt some projects his way.
He used to be concentrated solely on funk but has since expanded to other soul genres.
He'd be a perfect fit for an authorized 45rpm reissue

Kent/Ace seconded. I've had some dealings with everyone mentioned, and they are the best of the group.

Egon at Stonesthrow in LA is probably still putting out obscure soul 45's. If you need contact details for any of the people mentioned so far just ask. They are all mates of mine.

Ace/Kent is the place to go. That's who released the Pied Piper tapes for me and they are a very fair and reputable operation.
