Do you have a favorite tune covered recently or not so long in the past? There are some great bands out there rockin' some fairly obscure 60's garage tunes. What are your favorites?
The Swingin' Neckbreakers pay homage to The Rogues with their rendition of "Same All Over"
If you know of a tune, please mention it. Include a link if you can! Enjoy!

I love this band! Spain's Doctor Explosion do a great rendition of Larry & The Blue Notes' "Night Of The Phantom"
Their title is sort of funny too.I guess they like Billy Childish and all of his work with the Milkshakes and such.

Doctor Explosion also do a great version of The Beathovens' "Summer Sun" but I can't find a link at the moment.....I'll try to post it....

And what about these Austinites' cover of Los Nivram's tune "Sombras" (or "Shadows" in the language of the empire)? It can't get any better (well, I'm partial to these guys -and gal- as I'm a fan of both the band and the label -Hey Girl! Records-):

I bought this in my teenage years in the early 1980's. This EP started my interest in garage bands.I though these guys wrote all of thier material......soon discovered they did all covers...or mostly covers. Here they are covering the Innsmen.

This is not really a cover, Neal ford wrote this lyrics in 1969 after he left the Fanatics, and he share in 2009 this lyrics with the Satelliters, this 45, was released by a little spanish label, El Beasto.
