another thread from the old forum revived? maybe, i thought it was atcually still alive on here somehwere, but couldn't find it in a search...

anyway, its seems like one of those great crimes against all of (garage collecting) humanity to know that 'She's Been Traveling Around The World' by The Seeds Of Time has yet to recieve a proper reissue....so yeah, someone should really do something about that.

what do you all think? and what are some other things everyone else here might like to see reissued that either have never been re'd before or have only recieved past subpar re-ssues?

I'd like to see a legit collection by the Knack (you know which one) including their unreleased recordings. And a collection of the unreleased Merry Go Round songs.

The New Order (Warner Brothers recording group, not the lame 1980s dudes).
There is unissued material besides the three singles

MTM, wow, thas amazing, i had no idea there was more to be heard from them, those guys rule! do you know if the uniissued stuff all/mostly original material?

I'd like to see the unreleased version of the Nuchezs' "Open Up Your Mind":

There are loads but the obvious one is The Myddle Class.

Also worthy of a retrospective are The Raves, MC Squared, Bobby Comstock & The Counts, Cindermen, Disraeli, Distant Cousins, Sons Of Adam, Stained Glass, Teddy Boys, Thomas Group, Trolls, Tropics, WC Fields Memorial Electric String Band/ESB and Flower Power.

If there isn't enough or any unreleased material for a CD make the re-issues a smart 10" vinyl like The Dovers one.

Those are all great suggestions, Colin. The Myddle Class and Trolls (Chicago) need legit reissues and have the quantity of songs to create great ones.

I know Ace at one time bandied about Stained Glass and Sons of Adams comps. Hopefully they'll becone reality some time. The Tropics released their own compilation but a new one needs a big label touch. Gear Fab announced a Thomas Group comp but it never happened.

Shame about those 'almosts'.....

Thought of some more groups who had several 45s releases and may have unreleased songs hidden away....

How about The Calliope who recorded for Epic & Shamley, The Lyrics and The Boys From New York City who also released a 45s under the names of The Off-Set and The Energy Package. Leader Don Sallah released a solo 45 as Dusty Greyrock.
**if any label owners read this and want a contact for any of the above groups let me know**

Also The Kitchen Cinq are well worth the re-issue treatment..

I've heard there are unreleased cuts of the Clefs of Lavender Hill. I heard there was supposed to be a LP released back when the 45 was making it big, but never happened.

By the way, am I the only a couple here having trouble making posts?
