Sorry, I don't have a camera or scanning abilities.

I came across a 45 rpm record of a band from our area, from many years ago.

I know they performed here in the mid 70s (Louisiana) but they could have been around longer. Not sure.

The "Whitcomb Steel" record has 1975 on the label of the 45 rpm, as well as "Bull Whitcomb Pub Co".

The record Label is: Bull Whitcomb Records

The songs are

First Break (BMI 2:28) by James Frey / Homecoming (BMI 2:10) by David Thibodeaux

the deadwax has nothing other than

LH13427 and LH13428

The label is plain white, with black font.

Thanks for any info on this record or band.

I vaguely recall them playing regionally at the small venues years ago in our region.

PS: this is old store stock (NOS) from boxes in our record shop.

It's probably a bit late for this forum. Can you give us sound files?

sorry, no i don't have the capacity to digitize music.

i've just taken over this "record store" in the last two weeks.
the doors were locked, and it was closed for quite a while.

there isn't much in here from the digital age, so to speak.
perhaps in the future, i'll be able to get set up with all that.

i've been sorting out the bing crosby, mostly.

thanks for lookin'

this record is obscure.

i've yet to find anyone with much info on this band or release.
i do recall them playing locally, but it was so long ago, vague memories at best.

any input appreciated...

it is horn heavy. from my perspective, soft rock wanting to sound like chicago. :^/
sounds like a lot of major 7ths to me.

i always reluctantly describe music.
not my fortay.

i was just curious if folks had ever heard of them.
this record doesn't reflect what i remember them as...
