Who are these "Sonics" ?

I recently found this picture and was wondering if anybody had info on these guys? Any 45's or whereabouts?

That's the Chicago, IL based group that had a pair of 45s released, most famous is the tune included on a volume of BFTG, "Introduction to The Sonics"

Which one exactly, cos I've never seen "Introduction to The Sonics" on any grave volume. Unless vol. 9 was done under my nose :p. I've only heard that song through the "Ho-Dad Hootenanny" comp. Also heard it through the gyro series as well.
