It works now for some reason, thanks!Well, i just clicked on it and worked for me.
Often the best stuff appeared on the B-sides of singles, so didn't get so much exposure at the timeI hadn't come across this doco before, but it's perhaps an excellent reminder of just how horribly square Australian mainstream sixties pop music was. Many of the bands featured in this four part series did actually record some excellent garage / teanbeat, but you'll only hear their worst here; the only two exceptions being a brief clip from Bryan Davies, and a couple of snippets from the Easybeats. I only post part 1 below: pursue the other 3 at your own peril.
Forgot to check Soybomb on this one, oops. Never had the Keystone comps, just Crude PA.It's the first track of Keystone State Rock Vol. 2, really cool and rare stuff on it

Awesome thanks! Not a discovery as such, but in case anyone of you haven't seen it: the Sonics documentary turned up on YouTube just a few hours ago, will probably not be up or long:
I saw their reunion show in Boston. The woman playing bass (wife of guitarist) stood in front of a music stand reading the sheetmusic the entire show. She looked 80 years old.Great unreleased song by those who brought you "Slide"!
Found on the great Polaris Story CD
