YouTube Discoveries

Absolutely fantastic footage of several bands playing live at a 1967 "Beat Festival" in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Kicking off with a version of "Land Of 1000 Dances" that gets more bizarre the longer it goes on, there is plenty of cool stuff to be seen here. Check out the tough all girl band towards the end!

Better not post anything as almost everything has been posted.
No, that's not true, and that's why this thread exists. It was originally created to find things no body (well, almost 😆) had heard before, true obscurities posted by people who maybe have no connection to the garage collecting scene that might have gone overlooked. Not cuts from a major label album that have been seen a bunch! At least that is my understanding, I'm maybe being a bit severe in my reading but yeah. Keep looking, the stuff is out there!

That is exactly why I started the thread—to post things that people mostly had no idea existed. In all fairness—and I troll YouTube weekly—a lot of the rarer finds have dried up. There have been some significant posts, however—that Messengers interview/performance TV appearance is amazing—so let’s all keep sharing.

Totally agree, alas many major label bands haven't been caught on video, a thing that keeps amazing me. It is my understanding that alot of great videos were taped over to save money. And if posting Kak was wrong, I do apologize for doing so ✌️
Not really wrong, just...it's easy when a thread like this gets older to lose track of why it was created. The occasional course correction is sometimes necessary 😆!

While on the subject I used to have a video of the Shags, riding a hearse and playing on the beach. Divorce left the tape with my ex. Has this been unearthed?
Yes. It’s from THE SHOW WITH THE VERY LONG TITLE, a local public access show of sorts from NEW ENGLAND in 1966.
