That was one of my first eBay "obscure" buys when I entered that universe. The 45 sounds like the band plays in the room adjacent to the studio and not in it! Goes on way too long though...
Yes right, sounds like it was recorded with a single mic for all ahah and yes it goes on a bit too long, you can feel they slow down a bit and completely exhausted themselves at the end! What a breakneck pace

Is this the same song as by Danny Piel, also on Raynard? Whether it is or not, this is definitely crazier!
Elaborating on this, here is the other, slightly better known Jingle Jump on Raynard, but it seems to be a different cut....there's also a third even wilder Jingle Jump! Next post....

OK here's the other Jingle Jump, probably my favorite....but is this a cover? Original? Can't figure it out 😵‍💫

What? The Jingle Jump mystery isn't fun enough yet? Well here this should liven it up slightly....looks like the jingle jump is some sort of ball on a cord attached to something that you dance around? Via this odd French release found on discogs, that appears to give at least partial song writing credit to the Wisconsin writer of the Raynard version (or...versions 😵‍💫?)! Can't find clips for this one....

Can you translate the lyrics 😉

Marie douceur, that's what you call me
Of course you think you know me better than anyone
Marie colère also exists, be careful
I've already told you a hundred thousand times in all tones
Marie douceur has a lot, a lot of patience
Yes, but one day you'll see Marie colère enter the dance with flashes in her eyes
I know which one will be the most afraid of the two of us
Marie douceur is much too nice to you
If you persist in looking at the other girls
Marie colère will no longer agree at all
And will jump on you with all claws out
Marie douceur likes to sing ballads
But don't trust it too much, good advice, be careful
Marie colère loves outbursts
So choose between the other girls and me
Marie douceur, that's what you call me
Of course you think you know me better than anyone
Marie colère is now here in front of you
Marie douceur is nothing more than a memory already

Yes, seems it's definitely a toy!

Today I came across two artists I had never heard of: Jackson C Frank whose lone 65 album is incredible like an early version of Tim Buckley. The story of is life must be one of the saddest ever.
The other one is Paul Martin who issued two 45's in 66-67. Hope you'll like this stuff.

I haven't heard of "primi-garage" - a newly coined term maybe? But I'd say this song is already covered by the classification, "outsider music".
