That did go over my head. A bit more echo in the vocals and no growling compared to Goo Goo Muck.

Pennsylvania group. Known previously as the Cre-shells or somethin like that. Wicked Ways is the other side of this 45

The Darts were from Sayre, PA. There was a band called the Cre-Shells who recorded an instrumental 45, but they were a different band from Elmira, NY

Rare 1968 single. A little repetitive but some fuzz in the last seconds, which makes it even more a shame they didn't use it all the way! I found the names Dan Rabideau, Larry Rabideau (probably brothers) and Kim Joiner in the BMI catalog. Dan Rabideau is still around on facebook and confirmed he played on this. They're the same band as Danny And The Country Penetrators which issued a country single later the same year

That is one of the best & noisest low-fi recordings I have ever heard. It sounds like a rehearsal with only one mic in the room going straight to 1/4" two track. Genius!

And a rare German band, great stuff very hard to find
