Really like this genre, wonder about the unissued acetate, if anything like this song one might have to give up his firstborneThis 45, plus an acetate with 8 unissued songs and a 40 page scrapbook full of photos are for sale on a Facebook. I believe the seller is active here? Anyway, cool, if a tad weird and disjointed 45
I would think maybe Bosshoss would be interested? The price is pretty reasonable considering what's on offer.Really like this genre, wonder about the unissued acetate, if anything like this song one might have to give up his firstborne![]()
Do you have a link for the sale items? This 45, plus an acetate with 8 unissued songs and a 40 page scrapbook full of photos are for sale on Facebook. I believe the seller is active here? Anyway, cool, if a tad weird and disjointed 45
It's on the 60'S PUNK SELL & TRADE group; you'd have to be a member to see it.Do you have a link for the sale items?
Thanks, Mike. That’s a hard pass for me.I wouldn't be surprised if the "was gonna make a comp" statement is a cover for "buyer's remorse"...the acetate tunes are all soul song remakes. The only original is the "Theme Song", and the last one which, going by the title, is likely a spoken credit over music backing. Trying to sell it for a few hundred less than the purchase price is kinda suspect too.
That's all well considered but you're leaving out the scrapbook that's part of the deal. Fairly hard to value.I wouldn't be surprised if the "was gonna make a comp" statement is a cover for "buyer's remorse"...the acetate tunes are all soul song remakes.
