Wow! There goes another great guitar player and songwriter. Apparently died of a heart attack--he was 74. Big influence on Eric Clapton & Neil Young to name a few.

Just found out that one of my absolute favorite guitarists died on May 19th of cancer--Ronnie Splinter. Lead guitarist with the Dutch group The Outsiders--he and Wally Tax made up quite a songwriting duo to say the least. The rock & roll music world has lost a giant and a genius in my opinion...
