13th Floor Elevators Paradise Lost - sources?

Gave Paradise Lost a spin the other day - Disc 1 sounds really good compared to other 13th Floor sets. I've heard rumblings that this was supposed to be issued by one of the players in the reissue world, but that obviously didn't happen. I'm curious if anybody knows about the origins of this set (who pulled it together, sources of the material).

Yes I do...but I can't say at this time since the major "players" involved are all still active.
