Tough to remember right now (and damn if I remember what pile of crap I put it in here at the house) but I think it was "Teen Set" if I remember right...Which teen mag had the Seeds questionnaire?

Teen Set is a decent magazine, they are going for more moolah than most on ebay these days. The rest of those things like 16 or Tiger Beat etc. (well, maybe Flip is okay) I wouldn't waste time looking at. I can't think of any group that had an LP as quite a garage band though. The Seeds, Mysterians, Knack, Magoos, Mojo Men, Blue Things, and Shadows Of Knight are all great, so I'm not saying they aren't.

The coolest teen-style mag for obscure garage bands has to be the Vox Teen Beat, which promoted the company's gear. The one issue I have has a center spread highlighting local dealers around the US, with lots of cool garage bands namechecked. It's undated, but is Vol. 1 #3, front has shots of the Beatles, Stones, and Raiders, so ca. early '66?
