Another new sound system

STB tape is incredible when applied to the fuses / electrical control box of the house. I mean it's really incredible. It dramatically improves the sound of every stereo in the house (I have 3 :smyle:). Also on the wi-fi equipment, and any other equipment used for streaming including laptops, it's extremely good. Crazy good! :boggle:
you're starting to scare me.:crap:should we be worried?

No. It's just a matter of time before everyone will be doing this. But not with a home made product. Either it will be built into electrical installations, or available as an option to be installed. It might take a decade or two or three. Unfortunately no-one has the formula except me. Oh, and anyone who has read this topic. The only other guy who knew these secrets is dead. And he didn't know all of it.

After my latest experiments in the fuse box, I'm more sure than ever that this is the way to go.

I've read that clean power reduces the read on your electricity meter. Look out for lower power consumption on your bills!

I was just listening to the Jesters "Wrong Ticket" flac, for the first time on the Kii speakers. What I previously thought was a kind of pervasive (pleasant) distortion in the track turns out to be ultra-low, clean bass frequencies. Around 30-40 Hz (barely audible frequency range, but room-shaking). On headphoses it just sounds like mush, but the Kii speakers can resolve it.

I'm pleasantly surprised by SystemSTB's ability to lift and separate the different components of the recording.

Today I decided to try to make a mini gate according to the instructions given to me by Tim M before he died. However I want to incorporate my own STB formula into the recipe. I made the first stage and tried it out, without the AC power. It's very small but it is incredible, and I hope that when it is complete, it will be double or triple incredible. The only problem is the realism of the sound is actually causing a kind of temporary "mental illness" while listening, that might just be my imagination. I'll report more on this later, and I'm sure it's just an illusion, hopefully. It could be caused by the effort of concentrating on the intricate visual details which are now apparent. Even echo'd ambience and shimmering reflections have a visual presence. It can be slightly disconcerting. Some early Kinks and Rolling Stones recordings both have this, especially the Kinks first LP and the Stones second one.
I'll post a photo showing stage one tonight.

Here's a photo of the mini-gate Stage 1. Also shown are a pair of headphones and a cookie for size comparison. Each card is an Alpha Card, of which I had several spares. By themselves, the Alpha Cards are quite good, and in a stack of 10, they are very good. However, I covered both sides of each card with a generous helping of STB GRAY. Now, they are just incredible, and in a stack of 10, they are eye-wateringly great. Probably each card is now 10 times as powerful as the standard Alpha card. So the stack is now like 100 alpha cards.

I just place the stack directly on top of the wall socket powering the Kii speakers. The next stage will be to transform the stack into an active, AC powered mini-gate. I have never done that before, but from various experiments I have already performed, I know that it is likely to be around 5-10 times more powerful than the passive stack. In other words, like having 5 or 10 stacks instead of one. Equivalent to 500-1,000 standard Alpha Cards.

So it's not a Byrds cover?
Despite the song being credited to Simmie Younce (or Yonce as the label indicates) I had to double check to be sure. I’m not aware of any Byrds title by that name, or anything similar to where the credit may not have been given for that matter.
