Another new sound system

Using it as a paint is a lot of fun. But the potential for expensive mistakes is very high.

Hey Marcus, Would you recommend putting p5m on the back (where the power cable goes in) of my cd player, my EQ, the crossover on my DJ system, reel to reel etc?

Yes. Use it anywhere that is close to power wiring and/or power connections. It will improve the SQ no matter what audio or household equipment you apply it to (as long as it's plugged in and turned on). You could put it on your frig power connectors and it would improve the sound of your stereo.

Here is a great way I use STB P2S. I wrap it around a standard power entension cord, making a portable state of the art power line conditioner, more effective than units costing tens of thousands of $$$. l plug it into the AC wall outlet directly before the one that feeds the stereo, or into the same wall outlet using a multi-way adapter. Plug equipment into it, or leave it un-used. It works either way.

what about headphones? Near the input on the amp?

is the tape marked with p5m xxx the same as the tape with p5m?

Anything marked "XXX" is the same, only with an extra layer of actve ingredient. They are experiments, basically. Sometimes the extra layer is good, sometimes it is just one layer too many and the mixture becomes inflexible or cracks.

since they are cut in small squares, do they have a special purpose?

You can use the small squares anywhere. They are exactly the same as the P5M strips, except cut into pieces. I would use them on amplifiers, pressed right up against the inputs and outputs at the back. Or on the breaker box, as close to the main breakers or as close to the ones used for the stereo as you can do with safety. Or one square on each un-used AC wall outlet in the room would be fantastic!

Latest listening tests show :

STB Black Ruby is insanely incredible. I think it may as well be called Nuclear from now on, because I really don't think it can be improved from here. I've stripped it back to all the most powerful components, and no more can be used without the mixture disintegrating.

Here is a performance chart. The longer the line, the better the sound quality using the same quantity.

STB Nuclear is different from all the others, because it is so smooth in the high and mid frequencies. And so powerful at the same time.
The only thing I don't know, is how it would sound if STB Nuclear was the ONLY treatment I had in the entire house. Obviously that will take time to ascertain, because I have 36 Strange Matter Platinum and Diamond bricks installed in the garage, and many other non-Nuclear treatments elsewhere, including covering nearly ALL the cables :crap:
