Calica Wall: Stupid ass Q about stuff I already should know

Is there evidence that the song (I'm a Living Sickness) ever existed before 1982? [Sorry for bad English]

Is there any information about group members? I spent all day looking for but can't find anything.

Sancho Panza, sorry for the molestation, but could you tell me just who was the author and singer of "I'm a Living Sickness"? Peter Steinberg (I know that he was the writer of "Flight Reaction")? And one more thing: the musicians were from the group The Nite Caps, right? Really need your help.

Also - was the Four Fifths' "She'll Hurt You In The End" ever released, or was it only an acetate?

Surprised that one didn't make the list of top acetates, if it wasn't released.

Yep, an Associated Recording Studios acetate.

I think he's asking when the acetate was first discovered?

I haven't seen the Lost & Found article, so maybe the info's in there... but did it turn up in the wild or did it come to light when a collector contacted the band about "Flight Reaction"?

It wasn't released, "Flight Reaction/Beep" was the only thing released (IF, I'm not mistaken). I will search out the article as soon as my final is ready. It's boxed away somewhere.

Was 'discovered' when it was put out on a Psychedelic Unknowns EP c. 1979

I feel like this is a garage version of "Who's On First?".

What I meant was how did the acetate which made its way onto the comp back in '79 originally turn up? Did Billy Synth find it in the wild? Did he (or someone) get it from the band back then? Did Satan himself insert it onto the Psychedelic Unknowns plate at the pressing plant?

The time that passed between Patrice listing the acetate as a BIN to when Mark bought it was a true soul searching moment for me. The conclusion was: Thomas, do NOT venture into the acetate collecting field. The price was, contrary to a lot of his other auctions, not that bad! That it went to a good home was not a given, so that´s an added bonus.
