Would there be a way to link foreign presses to US releases? Would be nice to see the German Mouse & The Traps sleeve close to the Fraternity label, or the French sleeve to "Question of Tenperature", etc.pp. In some cases (i.e. Japanese variants) some collectors might still not know about a foreign PS.

You'll be able to list all Mouse & The Traps records, worldwide, in one list, with or without label scans and/or picture sleeves. Or all Fraternity 45s. Or all Texas 45s with picture sleeves, worldwide releases. Or all Mouse & The Traps 45s in the G1000 in order, or all Mouse & The Traps 45s featuring harmonica, or no harmonica, or all Fraternity label 45s with a rarity rating greater than 3 stars in order of rarity, or all 45s by bands from Tyler, TX, or all 45s by Mouse & the Traps only available on 45, or all Texas 45s featuring screams rated more than 2 stars with pink labels released before 1968....or....or....or....

I noticed in the year drop down box that you allow for 45s from 1962. This is before TBM cutoff or starting point. Would you allow the 45 by Mike and the Ravens and others like it?

Yes, I think quite a wide range of garage/teenbeat/rockers should be allowed. They can be filtered out easily. For example, if the "garage" checkbox is not checked, then it would not be in TBM, presumably. Every record in TBM should have "garage" or "teenbeat" or both checked. So if you wanted to look only at "garage'" records, you could list only records with "garage" checked, filtering out the others.

If desired and allowable, we could actually have a "TBM" checkbox added in the "collector" section.

Check out the new Auto-Value algorithm which automatically calulates the vg+, vg, vg- and g values based on the m- value plus the rarity. Try it by entering rarity scores plus mint values....and please let me know if you think the method works! (It's in the purple G45 & Collector section - enter a value in the m- text box, choose a rarity, and hit the "auto" button. Then change the rarity and hit "auto" again)

The rarer the record, the more weighting is given to the lesser quality discs, according to the bosshoss proprietary Autoval javascript function below:

function autoval()
{
var m=document.getElementById("valm").value;
var rar=document.getElementById("rarity").value;
m=parseInt(m);
rar=parseInt(rar);
oneperc=m/100;
var xvgp=(oneperc*75)+(oneperc*rar);
var xvg=(oneperc*50)+(oneperc*rar*1.25);
var xvgm=(oneperc*33)+(oneperc*rar*1.5);
var xg=(oneperc*12)+(oneperc*rar*2);

document.getElementById("valvgp").value=xvgp;
document.getElementById("valvg").value=xvg;
document.getElementById("valvgm").value=xvgm;
document.getElementById("valg").value=xg;

}

Damn...Wish I would have taken that Algebra class more serious:boggle:

works fine (even in a prehistoric Firefox 11 setting for a vintage mac) and is a great tool to remind "less experienced sellers" that condition does have a certain impact.

Something new to check out and evaluate...

It's a new feature in the Console called AutoSuggest. It computes a suggested value for 45s based on its G45 Ratings. I have included yet another new Rating in this system. It's called "Trend". It is very similar to "Legend" but it is used to rate the current Trendiness factor of the 45 in question. It's another factor that would affect the value of the 45.

So the G45 rating System is now S/R/L/T/A, in roughly that order of relative influence on the final score/value. The new algorithm used to compute the value features heavy use of weighting and exponential functions.

I would be pleased if you would test out the new system and let me know what you think. Just fill in the 5 G45 Rating text boxes, and a suggested value will appear. (It has nothing to do with the "auto-grade" button which is only for pricing the lower condition grades).

Here it is...

If I put a full score in S/R/L/A and try Trend 1 and 10 the final value only increases with $89. Trending seems a bit more expensive these days :bucks!:

Like a caveman holding his first bone... huh!! ...ug!! So confused, how do I turn this into a club? It is a very interesting thing I behold but how can I kill something to eat? Hum!

So the Auto-teen-o-grader tells me that a so-so unknown by TBM 45 (1 copy known?) that is about a 3 or 4 for a song grade and a 10 or 9 in rarity, I could sell for 1000 - 400 in VG+ condition of imaginary buckaroos:boggle:? It seems like a bit of tweaking might be needed for crazy outliers like this because I'm not believing my eyes.

Anyone need a so-so 45 for lets say 666 buckaroos PM me:sneaky:.
