most of the tracks i knew, ans some are really good (e.g Loosers, Vanguards, Petards), some are ok, some are bad.
Still, we're talking about a country that had up to 60 million inhabitants in the later 60s and a the second or third highest gross national product, PLUS was full of US military bringing US music with them. my verdict (as a german): big let down.
historically, of course there are many ways of interpreting the lack of ballsy and high quality, original garage music: the nazis had lost the war but were still very active when the "new" german state was built. and of course they brought their ideology and virtues and beliefs. and i guess they do mirror in the output in the then current groups.
