How Unknown Can You Go?

If Mark would have created a unknown and rare Surf contest you would have had a winner, but since this is a GARAGE contest it shouldn't qualify. Cool song though. ;)

When I spoke to this guy he said they were a garage band playing R n' B styled stuff pre Brit Invasion but had to play surf because it was all CA wanted to hear at the time.

So technically:biglaugh:, they were a garage band but recorded some surf. Is that too tentative:sneaky:?

It is a fantastic tune though and the other side is scorching too.

OK.... I can already hear the voices of g45 members saying "that ain't garage - Nil Points" ;).

Here is another entry from me

I'd give it a big 9. but I can't vote on my own.

An old gentleman I met last week played this on his phone to me, it is his band out of CA sometime in 1963.

Enjoy... and remember a vote for Hicksville is a vote for desperation.
Nice surf instro, but maybe you should have put it here: http://www.g45central.com/forum/index.php?threads/best-of-the-instrumentals.3237/

Not sure if I posted these yet.

Frantic's 5th - 8 (I can't help but over grade a Diddley styled rave up)

Ohiogarage

#1 - 6
#2 - 6 (this drifted between 4 & 7 the guys voice is slightly annoying to me but the guitars are great especially the super tremolo and the lead break)
