How Unknown Can You Go?

If Mark would have created a unknown and rare Surf contest you would have had a winner, but since this is a GARAGE contest it shouldn't qualify. Cool song though.

When I spoke to this guy he said they were a garage band playing R n' B styled stuff pre Brit Invasion but had to play surf because it was all CA wanted to hear at the time.

So technically, they were a garage band but recorded some surf. Is that too tentative?

It is a fantastic tune though and the other side is scorching too.

I give it a 5. Maybe not garage but I like instrumentals regardless if it is surf or garage. Starts out really great, then sort of morph into a well known surf song I can't recall right now.

An old gentleman I met last week played this on his phone to me, it is his band out of CA sometime in 1963.

Jezebel is the well known song they use. Pete, the guitarist said the tune was called Temptation Jezebel originally.
