Might thy aural newbies tickle my eye

found this recently which i thought would have been in the top 1000, but I did not see it there. It was rated a 6, so it must have just missed out. Would any one know how many were pressed?

Ok, not too far off. I think you said that the cut-off was 6.8 for top 1000, right?

This are some recent finds, a couple of big wants of mine. nothing that rare, but glad some of these ranked high on TBM.

I didn't know this band had pressed an early release on another label and under another name, until I found out on TBM.

This has been a big want for me. I had seen many online until now i had the opportunity.

One of the first records I heard from Texas garage.

Here are some more, this are for my El Paso/southwest collection. Stoked i got these, just wished condition would've been better.

Bobby Fuller's rocker version! Does anybody know wish one was done first?

Another from the Torquetts, woefully slept on the auction 45 they released on the Santa Cruz label outta Tucson, AZ.

Nicely done... I grabbed a dusty copy of Shakedown a little over a year back that looked like it was going to be deadstock. A cleaning revealed the flip to be trashed and a scratch on the Shakedown side.

I myself just grabbed an upgrade of this El Paso 45 on the cheap. Muscular garage rock with lots of El Paso/southwest attitude. Two ex-members of the Bobby Fuller Four. I love this record and if I can make myself do it I'll sit down and finish up a few paragraphs on the Intruders.

Not a well known record as few copies made it out before the band imploded... A clip from my old copy can be heard here:

It's track 25 on the divshare player.

@Vinyl01 = PB & Stanchmen is a great find. I interviewed Bruce Porter who produced that, and PB, is Bruce Porter- he had a girly club in Hornell, NY and also ran on a ticket in the 60's for Mayor of Hornell! (Free Beer & Girls... nice platform...!) Anyways, I only found a cracked copy in all my years in NYS, so your find is a terrific find IMO!

When i had a conversation the the owner, Calvin Boles, in the early 80s or there abouts, I think he said that it was done after to put in reverb.

Thanks tgtiger, This is my first copy. Do you happen to know how many were pressed?

This is the version of the Bobby Fuller 45 on Yucca I was referring to as the later one. It shows a 5 second longer time and a line above the title. thicker vinyl too.

I heard from 250 to 500. Outside chance of 1000 only based on plant that made them.

Been awhile and since I´ve been rotting away 5 weeks in Spain these are records received before and after. But they are ALL GREAT!

This, according to TBM, had a picture sleeve. I would love to see a scan of this sleeve. Anyone? Fab song with really cool, of it´s time lyrics.

This next one was new to a young one as myself. Lucky for me, the elder brigade stepped forth and showed me the way.

And last, but superior to them all. A real desert island fave!

Come on baby, give a little

Finally landed one of those elusive Paris Tower promo photos! Does anyone have them all?

Anyway, really pleased about this, now I only need the rest of their output...

ooh, that Pastels is something I´ve been looking for awhile myself. It´s been around but always when money was short....

Shamed to say I do not know the Abstracts 45!
