STRANGE WAYS indeed

I'm feeling a little generous these days and I've been sitting on this one for 11 or 12 years. It was gonna come out years ago on a friends label (I hope it still does) but hasn't yet. I tried my hardest to (and succeeded) not to enter it in the contest BossHoss put on last year that had forum members put up their best unknown or unreleased songs. This song may have ended that deal before it barely started, I think you will agree. Of course I've added silent spots (insert boos) cause I hope it still comes out. Any guesses to who it is? MopTop and Boss don't get to guess because I think I sent this song to them years ago. If any song ever deserved a 10...it's this one.

Top drawer stuff Frantic. I tip my hat to you for sharing it.
That has to come out somehow.

Fantastic. I give it a 9. A 3-second long tortured scream right in the middle would have made it a 10. It would be great to have it released as a vinyl 45, even if the flipside had to be a completely different band.

Why'n the heck wouldja wanna put another band on the flip when I have another unreleased track by the same band....?:yikes:

If your friend isn't keen, we could put it out on the G45 label. We'd be millionaires!
Maybe hundredaires. Hell let's make it a EP!!! Maybe not the greatest version of Route 66 but the best vocals. Like a wacked out cartoon version of Mick Jagger, Like if he made an appearance on the Flinstones as Rock Jagged. A lil' number called GAT YER KACKS ON ROWT SAXTY SAX.

It doesn't. I'm waiting for someone to guess who it is? That's a hint right there.

Okay. Cool. GREAT tunes. The group should receive recognition for laying down some excellent tracks. I unfortunately am clueless.

Hint #2:

The record label issued other well-known and killer garage 45s.
Why the people involved failed to release "Strange Ways" on a 45 makes them guilty of a crime of the highest G45 order.
