I was fortunate enough to interview two members of this combo, there are in fact three versions of this group.

The demo "Choose who you like" was recorded by none of the members interviewed - a mystery keyboard player!!

apart from the obvious Mike Furber Cover, we have the Richard Wright Group onstage at Zondraes, the Creatures out front of Zondraes, the Honey Bunch (ex Throb) sitting onstage at Zondraes with friends, and Wollongong's Reverend Black & the Rockin Vicars

got more somewhere but these were scanned already

Love that Knomes of Obelia pic; Glenn A. Baker incoporated it into the collage on one of the inserts that came with So You Wanna Be A Rock & Roll Star, Vol. 2. Pity that photo seems to be the only evidence of their existance.

The Bobby & Laurie pic is pretty cool as well; doing the dandy trip.

Go-Set was Australia's leading pop magazine back in the day. The book Tomorrow Is Today: Australia In The Psychedelic Era, 1966-1970, has a chapter dedicated to the magazine; there's an extensive interview with the magazine's founder and editor Philip Frazer. Great book, too, by the way!!
