Found this one today. Wondering how the verdicts are about this one, quite like it myself...

i find it pretty ok, i think the tbm rating of 5 is very generous. probably the raga break, which is the coolest thing happening here, may be the reason for the (relative) high rating.

good record, wasn't that on ebay just last week?

I always liked it , although it's a bit on the pop side . There was big quantity of this one around in the 90's .

It kinda makes me think of The New Colony Six after Breakthrough. Anyways a welcome addition to my collection

I like it, but you could argue it's not garage. I give it 4.8.

(I don't use the definition used by TBM for the ratings, but use them in accordance with where I would place the song in the TBM ratings list.)

The sound does have a touch of New Colony Six. Maybe "I Lie Awake" or something. I only give it a 5, but it's good. I slightly prefer the R&B/jazz tinged Skeptics on Scratch, but I give it a 5 also.

I've seen many songs that ranked in the top 20% that I wouldn't necessarily rate as complete "garage," but they held equal charm for their pop authenticity. I've always liked this song and I'd give it a "7."
