The Kalmar Counts "Quick Sand / The Last Sunrise"

Hey'all,

I'm new here. I've been a long time lurker and fan of the site. Now I got a question of my own!

The Kalmar Counts- "Quicksand / The Last Sunrise" - I picked up a copy of this Triway surf 45 at a local trift shop for .25 . I can't seem to find a shred of info on this 45, though I did find two entries on popsike. One of the sellers mentions a rumor that it was created by the CIA and used as a MK ULTRA mind control experiment. The tracks are great surf tunes, and have some cool sound effects in them.

Anyone have any info on this 45?

If you google for it, seems to be from Kalmar Village, Provincetown, MA.

Kalmar is originally a city in Sweden.
