Cool YouTube find, with a pretty cool unreleased original:

These are home movies taken by Lafay Oleson of the band "The Twygs". The audio is The Twygs playing an original song by guitarist Gary Jenkins, called "Useless Man". It was recorded in studio for the San Antonio, TX TV show, "Swingtime", circa 1967. The band is Jenkins, Gary Oleson, lead guitar, Larry Sandera, bass, Roger Santos, organ, Steve Nathanson, drums. Phil Bepko joined after the audio was recorded and appears at the end of the video.

Excellent find, Mike...lots of material by various groups got put down on tape for the Swingtime TV show...wonder if there are tapes out there somewhere?

I like 'em both for sure, the Twygs is more the moody one and the Lemon Rindstone cut is more of a rocker with a slight psych pop tinge. Wonder if they shared any members...
