Ah yes, the brief lyrical coincidence - well picked. I can see a slight musical resemblance with "Can't seem to make you mine", but I'm afraid the link with Oscar Hamod's song is too subtle for my blunt organs of discernment.

Here is the only known footage of Limey & The Yanks. At 2:30 an unknown drummer is sitting in with the band as they back a young black female singer. Drummer Wes Hunsinger is then seen at 3:30. They’re not identified at all in description but I wrote the band’s bio for UGLY THINGS and knew they performed on the Monkees’ train tour so when I saw this footage I hoped they’d be included and it’s 100% them. Limey and lead singer Steve Cook is unmistakable.

There are also other bands. I know Power also performed on the train—perhaps one of the groups is them?
