Writing to see if anyone with a Baltimore connection has info on a late-60s or early-70s group called Salt and Pepper. They were apparently a horn-rock type band who did a lot of Chicago and Santana covers.
My dad lived in the Randallstown area growing up and was recruited by the band for a gig or two since they needed a flute player on one of their songs. After my granddad suggested he ask the band for compensation for his flute-related services, he did just that and was no longer a member of Salt and Pepper. I believe he met up with a few former band members a few years back at a local event.
I know there's at least one good book covering Baltimore/DC bands of the 60s and 70s but I don't have a copy. Any help would be much appreciated.
