BLOW MY MIND...Dore, Era, Mira Punk & Psych Legacy coming 9/24/21

That looks like it could be great. Dore alone released a tidy pile of great rare and obscure mid-60s garage 45s. The Syndicate, The Motion, South Hampton Story, Spencer's Van Dykes, John Winfield Jr., and a few others. Would be great if the new CD contains unreleased material by any of those.

wait til you hear the unreleased Leaves song:yikes::yikes::yikes:

I just listened to the CD, outstanding work by Ace/Alec Palao, as usual .

According to the excellent liner notes the Tormentors were formed by ex members of the Odds & Ends, but what's about the Heros on M-Gee? Were they formed by different members?

The ODDS & ENDS became the HEROS I Can Only Give You Everything on M-Gee. A ODDS & ENDS tracks shows up twice in the Z-flick Mondo Bizarro which I just picked up on Blu-Ray. John has a acetate of the Tormentors doing a commercial for the R.F. Club. (Rat Fink)

Well not exactly Mr. D
When I interviewed John A. in the 1990s for the GPU re-do and for royalties owed from Crypt records, he said the lineup for the Odds & Ends had dissolved. Some guys then joined the Tormentors a group that already existed. A few then formed a new group, the Heros. They just didn't changed the name as implied. He also said the name Heros was given by their producer and not a chosen moniker.

YES, I knew that since we've talked numerous times over the last 3 months. He thinks the label owner owned a auto dealership.

“Do Me A Favor” is utterly fantastic, it did not disappoint!

Here's a link to Mondo Bizarro. Starting at 4:01 into the movie they play a bit of the Heroes 45. Then again at 17:50 during the nude massage scene!!! ha!!! enjoy the scenery.

I just talked to John and when Alec and I get the dub of the Tormentors acetate I'll put it up here for all to hear.

I’d love to hear it, however corny it may be.
