Hey kids! Collect The Whole Set!

Great to see some heavyweight contributions from the G45central Cabinet (to borrow a phrase from TBM).

Paris Tower was a remarkably consistent label, in terms of quality of releases. The 9 45s shown at the top all scored a 7 in TBM, and some are 2-siders. Even in the second set of 9, there are some 6-rated discs. I've shown them nude as inspired by Mr. Soundog's recent posts. There's a couple of good ones missing, can't remember what they are.

As I said earlier, I do not have a very good collection of add-ons and inserts. But I do have a great collection of Paris Tower 45s, mostly in mint condition tho' a couple are a bit mouldy and need a clean. Unfortunately in most cases, without inserts (I only have 4, as shown). I'm hoping someone with a better insert collection will put them up here so I can see what I'm missing!

Here's a strange one. All these Cinema label 45s are at least quite rare, mostly ultra-rare. But only the top 2 rows are the Houston, TX Cinema label. The bottom row shows different Cinema labels from other US states. The Town Criers is ruined by ghastly unison vocals, otherwise it would have been good jangly garage. Funny how everything on any label called "Cinema" turns out to be insanely rare (except for the Countdown 5 which I didn't show because it isn't rare at all). Are there any I missed?

These labels look very similar. I haven't checked every disc, but most of them seem to be TX or LA releases. Does anyone know what ties these 45s together, apart from the appearance of their labels? They also look just like the Sea Ell labels above.
Were they all pressed at Houston Recorders?

Sometimes too much of a thing may be seen as simply that. Toooo Much. So a bit of judicious editing can serve as a useful mechanism deployed towards retaining / maintaining a sense of perspective, clarity & focus. Ergo, incomplete "collections" might occasionally trump trainspotting runs...

Hey, it's a big world out there. Presented here a few strategically edited allocations of Lowland mayhem--->

These guys started out SO STRONG & in tragically short order it all went wobbly. This overview defines my read on the bands high grade output, inclusive of the two non- LP flips. 100% ***** to my ears...
