RIGHT ON! Thanks!
I just mean the darker, more echo-laden group sound.PS. Noirish flair, like the sound of that! What IS that? And can I have some more, pleeeeease?
The Johnny Kidd cover baby feelin was a faster and superior

how much les coudaroys 45 ? i was gonna bid on that but passed .
I've had a day listening to The Monkees and put together a collection of their lesser known cuts, previously unissued mixes and B-sides. I posted the MP3s in 320 kbps for download in the Secret Society Forum. I figured that out of the 180 members of G45 perhaps 50 would have access and out of those 50 maybe 5 people would be interested and download them.
Enter JoeyD, who was his brash normal self and decided to throw his rattle out of his pram. That guy really needs to take a chill pill. Anyway, I've heard that he's got big strong muscles like that Stretch Armstrong geezer from the 70s so I didn't really wanna mess with him.
So I decided to delete my post before he worked himself up into a rage.
If anyone wants the MP3s emailed to them send me a PM.
I don't think for one minute The Monkees F.B.I. investigators would have infiltrated the G45 'Secret Society' where I posted the download... Most of those cuts were taken from the now outta print 'Missing Links' CDs from the early 90s.
But, I'm sure you're right and that's why I removed the thread.....
p.s. It's great if you're able to get them all from the new double delux CDs. I don't keep up to date with Rhino releases.
I have no desire to step into the middle of anything, but is there an FAQ area on this BB where rules are posted? I just poked around and couldn't find one.Rather than get into a pissing match, I questioned why you put them up against G45 rules.
I see things around here haven't changed too much.
You are dead wrong...G45 is a high profile site and Rhino would easily find illegal downloads of Monkees songs. As a matter of fact, why do you think I responded? I recieved a email from a friend at Rhino telling me about the MONKEES posts./
I certainly do not want to take sides in this discussion but why didn't you just write that in the first place? If you stated that you'd received this e-mail and that there's a risk that the site is going to be shut down, then I'm sure that Colin would've taken the files down immediately. Makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, the intentions behind a statement often gets burried in the rhetoric one chooses to use.
