I love that Young Men 45. That used to be my copy, and the brown background behind the scan of the record is the ceiling in our old house, 'cause my scanner had no lid.
That disc was for many years, completely lost off the face of the earth. Zero known copies.
I loved it so much, I decided that I would track it down somehow. I asked every collector I met, if they had ever seen a copy. The only known copy that was used to make the Eva Louisiana Punk #1 comp LP, went missing after the comp was made. It came from the David Shutt collection, and was sold to Hans Kesteloo. When Hans sold his entire collection to Jorgen, it was placed on a shelf awaiting sale via Jorgen's lists. But it went missing from the shelf. After much pestering and prying, Jorgen gave me the names of all the collectors who had been given access to the shelf over the period when the record went missing. It was with this information, that I eventually tracked down the movements of the 45 and finally found it and purchased it. After so many years, Jorgen didn't care any more...he was just pleased that someone had tracked it down.
A few years later a nicer copy showed up which I bought and still own, and now MTM owns the Kesteloo copy shown in the scan. Truly a legendary 45.
