Hi guys,

Just wanna test the waters here:

The idea: Forum members record their version of (preferably rather obscure) 1960s garage tracks. We make a cool comp out of it.

I have in mind doing this "garage-style", so it't not necessary to record in a studio setting, just according to what you have at home, so everybody here (posters, lurkers, trolls) can take part.

Would be a fun idea. Please reply or DM if you would be in.

See you!

I like the concept. In fact, I've made many home-made comps for my driving listening pleasure.
However, some of the songs were shared with me; based on the agreement that these not be distributed. This isn't to give off some image that I have some songs that some other garage enthusiasts do not have. It's simply a matter of liking your idea, but I'm also bound by my word.

If you are wanting to hear some obscure tunes though, I'd suggest doing a search on youtube. You'll find some rarities there. Wish you good success with this.

Psychotic Infractions was pre-G45Central, back on the old Garagepunk forum. It was fun to compile and I was really pleased that so many people sent songs in. I wish I could remember who came up with the title though.

I'd be willing to give this a shot.
Don't have a guitar, or drums, or a working microphone, but I'll figure something out. Some bands did more with less back in the day.
