Even after it's been picked through (I managed to snag two 45s myself), there are still some really good records here! Wish I had more cash. Any way we could get a heads-up when he puts leftovers on eBay?
 
Tempted to finally add a pic sleeve to my E-Types . I'm surprised to see the Morfomen is still there , that doesn't turn up often and the price is very reasonable
 
I would have gone for the Shy Guys if I had the cash. That is about the going rate for it though, so I don't think it is a bargain as such.

Around the middle of the month. Marek has asked for some changes, because the way it was done last time caused too many emails for him and confusion for some members. He also has a couple of buyers who are not members, and last time they could not get access to the list.

Next time, all the records will go up for sale in one hit, and they will be in the Set Sale Supermarket, not the Secret Society. However, the exact date and time will only be announced 24 hours earlier, and only in the Secret Society. Marek can notify his couple of buyers, and everything should be ok. The "general public" will not have any advance notification of the exact time.

ps - this post has been heavily edited since Stampy "liked" it. Maybe he won't like it now...:lol:
 
Did we figure out a system to strike items from the list as they get bought so as to minimize his too many emails problem? Guessing that would be a great help to him.
 
You could still pre-post the list to the SS, if Marek only responds to emails if items are still available.
I would not bother to respond to an e-mail if the 45s have already been purchased.

State: If you do not receive an e-mail reply, your items have been sold to another.

Of course, if one feels up to it, and can design it, a shopping cart type deal page could be uploaded, everyone receives a password to log on, and the first person to buy an item causes it to be removed from the cart, thereby cutting out other requests.
 
Or the seller could join the forum, post the list here himself & then mark items as sold once they are spoken for.

I discussed this with him yesterday, and it's another reason he wants the list to be in the public forum from the beginning. It's too complicated for him to send me lists of sold items, it's better if he manages it himself.

Marek has two buyers who are not forum members, and for whatever reason, do not wish to join the forum. He wants those 2 buyers to have the same chance as everyone else.

I think it's nice to at least acknowledge receipt of each email request.
