Or the seller could join the forum, post the list here himself & then mark items as sold once they are spoken for.
I'm hoping that's exactly what will eventually happen.

Sounds like Marek doesn't want to bother doing the work - he just wants to sell the easiest way possible.
I got my record today and am very happy with it. Marek could have used a little bigger squares of cardboard for the sandwich, but it was fine. It needed a good spin on the VPI, but your results may vary.
Are you sure yours was sent registered? Mine came in a 45 box with some cardboard inserts, so I'd say it was packaged appropriately. The cost on mine was $21.10 AUS$, which is not too out of line with what I paid ($25 postage and $25 PayPal fee). I too am not thrilled with paying 5% PayPal, especially as the Paypal fee probably comes in between 3% and 4%, even including exchange rates and foreign transfer fees. If it had been announced beforehand, I would be more accepting of it.I received my 45 on Friday.
It was a piece of cardboard, rather thin, folded in half, then taped up. I was charged $23 for postage and ins. but the cost on the stamped custom form and the box was only a bit more than $7.
You can bet next time I am not paying no $23 for shipping one solitary 45, especially when it is not shipped professionally inside a 45rpm mailer box, surrounded by cardboard square filler pads.
There is no excuse for this kind of packaging. My 45 is a styrene press to book, I had to inspect it magnified to make sure there was no crack.
My package was not sent registered.
I specifically told Marek I did not want registered, but instead sent regular airmail
When I spoke to Marek., he told me he was sending the records with 4 squares of corrugated board, taped. He said he was doing it that way to keep packaging costs down to $7.50 (or thereabouts). He did not say that he was charging $23 for something that was costing him $7.50. I'll pass on the complaint when I next see Marek.
note the words if you prefer normal airmail...this option has no 5% feeout of curiosity, why is he adding a 5% paypal fee when he is asking you to also pay the paypal fee by sending it as a gift to family and friends? Or am I missing something?
